1. Safeguarding & Conduct
Spectrum Club has adopted British Naturism’s Safeguarding policies relating to both vulnerable adults and families. All members and visitors are expected to follow the rules of the club, in addition to the rules of the venue.
Anyone whose behavior is not appropriate to a family naturist environment will be asked to leave. Any member bringing Spectrum Naturist Club, and/or naturism generally, into disrepute will have their membership of the Club terminated. This includes inappropriate use of social media.
Photography & Privacy
- Cameras and mobile phones are to be kept out of sight, especially in areas where people are naked. No photography is allowed unless agreed by the committee and all subjects must give their express permission.
- Members and visitors are advised that, in the event of their behavior indicating that they are not suitable, their names may be provided to British Naturism for consideration of inclusion in an Enquiry List.
2. Visitors & Membership Requirements
- The Club welcomes all genuine naturists but reserves the right to refuse admission and is under no obligation to give reasons.
- All newcomers must give notice to the membership secretary in advance of attending.
- On arrival, all newcomers must produce valid ID: one item to contain a photograph and the other the current address.
- All newcomers are checked against the British Naturism Enquiry list and anyone on that list will not be admitted.
- Trial Visits: You must complete 4 satisfactory visits before membership is considered.
- Anyone aged 18 or over may apply. There are no membership interviews.
- Note on Guests: Guests of full members may attend with the member without notifying the club, but must produce full ID. If a guest completes 4 visits and wishes to continue, they must apply for membership.
3. Health, Safety & Hygiene
- Members and visitors must obey the instructions of the centre staff and observe the swimming pool rules at all times.
- No one must enter the water if a lifeguard is not present poolside.
- Please remember always to sit on a towel in the sauna and social room for comfort and hygiene.
- No Smoking or Vaping is allowed anywhere in the premises.
- Alcohol is not allowed on the premises. Anyone believed to have consumed alcohol prior to visiting the club will be asked to leave.
- Gym Use: Appropriate clothing and footwear must be worn, and adults should know how to use the equipment safely.
- Please bring only plastic or paper cups.
- Please leave clothes and sports bags in the changing room.
4. Final Conditions
The Club will respect your privacy and will not divulge information about your membership to non-naturist groups or individuals unless required to do so by law.
Please respect the privacy of other members by not divulging details of names, addresses, telephone numbers, other personal information or naturist events that identify a member to a non-member.
Members and visitors are bound by the Club’s Constitution. The Club, its officers and members cannot take responsibility for any incidents arising from, or due to, attendance at our events.
